Sunday Update

Service today was a little different. Let me first say a good different. I think its good to try to keep things a little different. Now don't get me wrong, I try to keep the same routine in the things I do. I wake up the same time, make coffee, pray, read the Bible a little, get ready for work, go the same way to work. Some mornings (Monday) I need a little more kick so I stop by Starbucks. I do think it is healthy to change things. Today was a good day for that.

First we started a Senior Adult Sunday school class. Its a really good thing, but the problem is that I did have rehearsal during this time but now the class has started we have moved our rehearsal. It was a different day for the band and singers, we didn't get the time we are used to for sound check. I am still amazing how God is using the team here at LFA. There is really something special that is happening and I am glad to be a part of it.

Heres the worship list:
- Because of Your Love
- Everlasting God
- The More I Seek You
- You Are My Strength

This was the first Sunday we did You Are My Strength. Its a fairly new song from Hillsong. Its a sweet easy to worship to song. Eddie did a great job playing the acoustic. It was a good change for us.

Mark Carter spoke today and did an amazing job. I twittered some of his gems, but the best was "If I met Adam I would punch him in the face and his little wife Eve." He continued the mini series about Legacy that Pastor began last week. There are a few communicators that I really enjoy listening to and Mark is on the short list. I know you want my list so here it is:
1.Pastor Carter (He's my Pastor, mentor, and friend)
2. Perry Noble (Pastor of NewSpring Church)
3. Joe Gabbard (Older Brother and a excellent communicator)
4. Mark Carter (Friend and he knows how to end a message)

Thats about it. I know some of you are podcast fans of many people, but my life is really busy so my list is really short.

Who's on your list?
